Create an Account
Open the 83VPN account creation page. Choose a memorable username that is not reused on other websites, then set a unique password. Only a username and password are required; no email address is needed. If the page takes you to the user panel after submission, your account is ready. If it stays on the sign-in screen, log in with the username and password you just set.
Your account is the central access point for plans, orders and subscription details. Copying your subscription, checking data usage and getting client access all happen in the same user panel, so keep your login credentials secure. Do not place your password in subscription notes, and do not share your username and subscription link together in public chats, forum posts or shared documents that others can read.
After opening the panel, check that the username shown at the top or in the account overview is the one you just created. Having no plan selected yet is normal; proceed to the plans section. If your browser is signed in to another account, sign out and log in again before ordering so the order is attached to the correct account.
Choose a Plan and Place an Order
On the plans page, decide between a monthly subscription and a data package based on how you plan to use the service. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. They suit regular use and predictable data allowances. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire, making them better for irregular usage and flexible consumption.
After choosing a plan type, click “Start Using” or “Choose This Plan” for the relevant package to open order confirmation. Check the plan name, data allowance and amount due, then select an available payment method: Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel. Once the order status updates, the account overview will show the active plan.
If your current plan later proves insufficient, you can choose a higher tier from the panel. When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days, so review the result shown on the order confirmation page before continuing. You do not need to prepare every device at once. 83VPN supports unlimited simultaneously connected devices, so connect one device first and then set up the others with the same account.
This service offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. If an order remains pending payment for a long time, do not create multiple identical orders. Refresh the order list and check the result of the selected payment method first. If the issue persists, submit the order details through the ticket option in the user panel.
Get Your Subscription Link from the User Panel
Once your plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel. Find the subscription section, where you will see the subscription entry for the current account and a copy option. Click Copy to place the link on your clipboard, then switch to the client and paste it into the subscription import field. Manual transcription is unnecessary, and saving it via screenshots is not recommended.
The subscription link lets the client retrieve the route configurations available to your account, so treat it much like account credentials. Do not publish it on a public webpage or submit it to an untrusted configuration converter. To use it on another device, transfer it through a controlled channel or sign in to the user panel and copy it again. If the link has been exposed publicly, stop forwarding it and contact support through a user-panel ticket.
The example below only illustrates the link format. It is explicitly invalid and contains no real subscription information:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If the client says the copied link format is unsupported, first check that you did not copy the explanatory text, spaces or line breaks before or after the link. Also confirm that you are using a network client that supports subscription import, rather than a general connection tool that accepts only individual server parameters. For a deeper look at subscription structures, route types and troubleshooting, see the Streaming and Route Reference Guide. This page covers only the steps needed for your first connection.
Import the Subscription into Clients on Every Platform
Before importing, open the client download section in the user panel and get the client entry for your current system. This site does not provide static installers or public subscription URLs on its marketing pages; both clients and subscriptions are delivered through the user panel. After installation, open the client and continue with the relevant platform section below. Regardless of the interface labels, the core flow is always: “Add subscription or configuration → Paste link → Update subscription → Choose a route.”
Windows
On Windows, open a desktop client that supports subscription configuration and find an option such as “Subscription Management” or “Configuration Management” in the sidebar or top menu. Add a subscription, paste the link copied from the user panel into the address field, and give it an identifiable name such as “83VPN.” Save it, run an update, and wait for the route list to appear in the client’s main interface.
After the routes load, choose a nearby city or one that matches the target service region. Return to the client home screen and enable the system proxy or connection switch. If Windows asks for network permission, verify the app name and allow it. Do not close the client immediately after connecting; some desktop clients must remain running in the taskbar to continue handling app traffic.
macOS
In the macOS client, look for the configuration or subscription section, add a remote subscription, paste the link and save it. After the first successful update, available routes usually appear in the menu bar or client window. Choose a route and start the connection. If macOS asks to add a network configuration, review the system prompt and confirm; this allows the client to handle network requests that need acceleration.
After connecting, check the current route status from the menu bar. If the browser works but an app still uses the previous connection, quit that app completely and reopen it so it can establish a new network session. Do not run multiple clients that provide the same network-handling function at the same time, as their system settings may conflict. The result can be an enabled connection switch with traffic still bypassing the selected route.
Android
In the Android client, open configuration management from the home screen or sidebar, tap Add, and choose “Import from Link” or a similar option. Paste the subscription address, save it and run one manual update. Confirm that a list of regions and cities appears. When you select a route and tap Connect, Android will show a network connection permission dialog; after confirmation, a system connection indicator usually appears in the status bar.
If no routes appear during a subscription update, return to the input field and check that the link is complete, then switch networks and try again. Some systems restrict background apps, so the connection may stop when the client is suspended. During the first connection, keep the client in the foreground until verification is complete. After confirming that it works, decide whether to allow continued operation in the device’s battery management settings.
iOS
On iOS, use a client that supports subscription import. Open its subscription or remote configuration page, add a new entry and paste the link. Save it, run an update and wait for the route list to load before choosing a target region. The first time you tap Connect, iOS will ask permission to add a network configuration. Confirm it, return to the client and check whether the connection status has changed.
If pasting a link copied from another app produces an empty result, return to the user panel, copy it again and switch straight to the client for import. If the routes appear but the target app still shows content for the old region, fully quit the app, keep the client connected and reopen it. A platform account region, content account region and network exit region are separate settings. For streaming account region details, see the Streaming Guide.
Connect and Verify the Setup
After importing, choose the required region from the route list and enable the client connection. Wait for the status to change from disconnected to connected. Before opening the target service, visit 83VPN’s IP Check page and review your current exit IP and region. If the displayed region matches the selected route, browser traffic is using that route.
Next, open the app or website you actually need and test it. If the browser shows the correct result but an app that was already open still displays the previous region, its old network session likely has not been rebuilt. Quit the app completely and reopen it while the client remains connected, then test again. For apps with their own network settings, also make sure they are not bypassing the system connection.
If the IP check still shows the previous exit, return to the client and confirm that the subscription is updated, the route is selected and the connection switch remains on. Disconnect and reconnect once, then test another route in the same region. Avoid changing several settings at once, or it will be difficult to identify the cause. Check in this order: confirm the route → reconnect → switch routes → restart the target app.
If the connection works but performance is unstable, there is no need to repeatedly delete the subscription. First switch to a nearer region, or move from a standard route to an IEPL dedicated route listed on the page, then check whether the target app improves. Route types, cross-border links and streaming-region detection require more background, covered together in the Systematic Reference Guide. This page does not expand on protocol parameters or advanced diagnostics.
Quick Fixes for Common Questions
Where should I save the subscription link after copying it?
Paste it directly into the subscription or configuration section of your client. When you need to import it again, sign in to the user panel and copy it anew. Do not keep the subscription in public notes, shared spreadsheets or group chats for extended periods.
What should I do if no routes appear after importing?
First confirm that your plan is active, then check that the link is complete and manually run a subscription update in the client. If the current client supports only individual parameters and not subscriptions, return to the user panel and get the client entry suited to your system.
Do I need to buy a separate plan for each device?
No. 83VPN supports unlimited simultaneously connected devices. You can use the active subscription associated with the same account on your Windows, macOS, Android, iOS or Linux devices.
When does monthly subscription data reset?
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date. Data packages remain available until used and never expire. The rules differ between the two types, so choose according to your actual usage frequency.
What should I do if the target service still will not open after connecting?
Use the IP check first to confirm whether your exit has changed, then fully quit and reopen the target app. If the exit has not changed, check the route, reconnect, and switch to another route in the same region. For further diagnosis, read the Systematic Reference Guide.
